Run the Sahara 2012

We recently worked with UK charity Sandblast Arts to create promotional materials for Run the Sahara 2012. A week-long trip, Run the Sahara involves participating in the Saharamarathon (Not a runner? Don't worry, you can do as little as walk 5km) and taking part in several cultural events and activities, giving you a glimpse into the lives of your Saharawi hosts.

Afropolitans at the V&A

Last Friday, I had the honour of sitting on a panel at the V&A Museum's Afropolitans Friday Late. The topic: "what is an Afropolitan?" WOW Arts Fair – 8th March

gKenya entrance

gKenya was the buzz-word coined by Google Kenya for their 3-day conference held at Strathmore University from the 6th to the 8th of September. 

For all who are familiar with Google's success story, this was a once-in-a-lifetime event which no developer could afford to miss. Some of my friends even had arrangements made to have the event streamed to them in real-time just in case there was a possibility of them getting caught up with something else!
