Christmas came early at our Tropical event

Last Saturday, we spent a wonderful day at The Drift Bar in London, celebrating creativity and good company at our Tropical Christmas celebration.

Along with designs from our clients Adele Dejak (Accessory design brand based in Kenya) and Creativity and Noise (bespoke screen printer), we featured fashion from Chichia London and home furnishings from La Petite Congolaise

A long-time collaborator, Em Wilkinson from Mindful Maps, joined the party and worked her visual magic creating a large collaboration map to inspire new connections and opportunities for 2012.

A lot of new ideas transpired on the day. Considering the different creative disciplines represented by hosts, exhibitors and guests, there was a lot of talk about skills exchanges and bartering. Thanks to a great chat with Yemisi Mokuolu from Hatch Events/Out of Africa and Laurence Kanza (aka La Petite Congolaise), we are inviting the world to usher in the Birth of the Afropolitan.

A huge thanks to everybody who came to spend time with us. A special shout-out to my former colleagues from Futerra, to our unfailing supporters and to new friends and clients.

There were a lot of questions about when the next event will be and how other creatives can participate. Join our mailing list and we'll keep you posted.
