Halftribe.com is a website showcasing art and culture from Africa and the Diaspora. They needed a logo and identity that captured the tension between tradition and modernity and what is created when they meet and interact.

Inspired by Ghanaian Adinkra symbols, the logo solution is an interpretation of the symbol Nkyinkyim – "twisting". 

Nkyinkyim represents initiative, dynamis and versatility – three things appropriately fitting the essence of halftribe.com.
