UK charity, Sandblast Arts, is an arts and human rights organisation that works with the indigenous people from Western Sahara. Every year, they organise a trip to the Saharamarathon that takes place in the desert. Along with running, participants experience a week of various events and activities, giving them a glimpse into the lives and culture of their Saharawi hosts.

Asilia worked with Sandblast Arts to design flyers, posters and graphics to promote the 2012 run. Sandblast wanted to reach two different audiences: running and extreme sports enthusiasts and; people generally interested in adventure and learning about new cultures. Asilia responded to this challenge by designing two separate sets of materials to appeal to each audience group.
